name:
Presentation of two epitopes of the preS2 region of hepatitis B virus on live recombinant bacteria.
description:
The sequence is from scheme 1 and the reference cited: Tiollais et al. (1985) Nature 317: 489.
Two of four rabbits immunized with bacteria expressing the LamB-preS2-A hybrid protein, which contains residues 132-145 (QDPRVRGLYFPAGG) of the epitope inserted in bacterial LamB protein, produced high titer antibodies to the epitope after 50 days and four immunizations.
