A novel microencapsulated peptide vaccine against hepatitis B.
description:
Similar antibody responses to the epitope were observed after immunization with the epitope encapsulated in polyactide co-glycolide microspheres (PLG) at two ratios (50:50 or 75:25) or in Freund's complete adjuvant. The primary IgG subclass was IgG1 with lesser amounts of IgG2a and low levels of IgG2b and IgG3. The epitope also blocked binding of anti-epitope sera to the epitope and to HBVsAg.
