Using sera from 39 patients, 37 of 39 patients showed reactivity with the epitope. All patients tested were positive for Lyme disease. Out of the 39 patients who tested positive, 7/7 had erythma migrans, 5/5 neuroborreliosis, and 25/27 had lyme arthritis.
