description:	PepCS-35[7] is identical in sequence to CS-35[7]-1 and R1[7]-1. The epitope was selected from a 7-mer phage display library by three rounds of panning with the anti-LAM mAb CS-35. Six phage clones with the same sequence were selected and reactivity with CS-35 was confirmed by a reverse phage ELISA. The epitope was linked to the phage pIII minor coat protein by a spacer, GGGS. The epitope was synthesized and the K_D for binding to CS-35 was determined to be 7.55 ± 0.83 µM (SEM).
