description:	The epitope was selected from a 12-mer phage display library by three rounds of panning with the anti-LAM mAb CS-35. Eight phage clones with the same sequence were selected and reactivity with CS-35 was confirmed by a reverse phage ELISA. The epitope was linked to the phage pIII minor coat protein by a spacer, GGGS.
