description:	The epitope, selected from a 7-mer phage display library by panning with anti-LAM mAb CS-35, was recognized by rabbit anti-M. bovis BCG cells antisera in a reverse phage ELISA. The epitope was linked to the phage pIII minor coat protein by a spacer, GGGS. The epitope was synthesized and shown to react with the rabbit antisera by dot blot analysis.
