description:	The peptide was isolated from a bacterial surface displayed random peptide library system used as an alternative to phage display. The peptide was found to share significant homology with the hepatitis B virus preS 130-142 epitope (TLQDPRVRGLYFP). Immunization with bacteria displaying the identified mimotope led to significantly higher anti-preS responses in immunized animals compared with the control groups.
