description:	The peptide was isolated from a bacterial surface displayed random peptide library system used as an alternative to phage display. The peptide was found to share significant homology with the hepatitis B virus preS 130-142 epitope (TLQDPRVRGLYFP). In another experiment, the monoclonal antibody was used to detect the bacterial-displayed peptide in a Western Blot assay, and a negative response was found.
