A quadruple antigenic epitope peptide (TAVSPTTLRTEVVK) was fused to GST and expressed in E.coli. In order to increase the flexibility of multi-epitope folding, a linker peptide of 4 aa (SPGS) was incorporated to bridge 2 adjacent epitopes. This repeated epitope peptide was more immunogenic than the mono-epitope peptide.
