description:	The epitope was identified previously (J Virol 2004 78:13975-13986) following mutational analysis of the E protein of Dengue virus. The relative avidity of mAb 4G2 to the solid phase virus (four-layer ELISA) was 100nM and 1.38nM after treatment with TX-100. The mAb concentrations producing half-maximal binding were determined and defined as the ELISA avidity constants.
