name:
Induction of primary antiphospholipid syndrome in mice by immunization with a human monoclonal anticardiolipin antibody (H-3).
description:
Adoptive transfer of the cardiolipin-specific human mAb H-3 into naive mice induced the production of high titer anti-cardiolipin antibodies (ACA). ACA were measured by inhibition assay in which the binding of sera to cardiolipin were inhibited by cardiolipin in solution, and by direct ELISA. ACA also inhibited the binding of sera to DNA, as well as platelets.
