All the virulent NDV-infected birds displayed severe depression between 2 and 5 days postinoculation. Sixty seven percent (8/12) of affected birds died showing severe depression between 3 and 5 dpi. The remaining four birds survived up to 7 dpi and their anti-epitope titer was measured by ELISA.
