description:	The residues involved in mAb binding was determined by testing binding of recombinant envelope protein constructs with specific amino acid mutations. Mutations of the epitopic residues reduced mAb binding by >80% compared to wild-type counterpart. The epitope-specific mAb recognized Dengue virus 3 (DENV3) genotypes I, II and III but not IV. The KD values ranged from 0.18 nM to 0.47 nM.
