Epitope-specific mAb ICSM 33 was ineffective at inhibiting prion propagation in prion-infected ScN2a neuroblastoma cells. The estimated IC50 value was 4.7X 10 ^-7 M. Prion propagation was measured as the levels of proteinase K-resistant PrP.
