A lipopeptide based on the M2 and HA proteins of influenza A viruses induces protective antibody.
|
| description: |
The epitope is a S-[2,3-bis(palmitoyloxy)propyl]cysteine (Pam2Cys)-containing lipopeptides. Epitope immunization significantly reduced influenza virus load in the airways of mice after challenge. Immunization of mice with a non-lipidated longer peptide fragment M2e(2-24) in CFA/IFA induced a weaker protection.
