Antibody concentrations to Abeta1-42 monomer and soluble oligomers in untreated and antibody-antigen-dissociated intravenous immunoglobulin preparations.
|
| description: |
Antibodies to the epitope (both oligomeric and monomeric) were detected in the intravenous immunoglobulin (IvIg) preparations, although there were differences among the 3 brands tested. Antibody levels were higher when the IvIg preparations were pre-treated to dissociate antigen-antibody complexes. Specific binding to A beta 1-42 oligomers was somewhat higher than to A beta 1-42 monomers.
