description:	The epitope is cyclized. Amino acid positions differ because the database sequence includes the signal polypeptide. Antisera generated using both adjuvants responded well to whole bacteria. Examination of subclass responses by ELISA indicated that all mice had anti-epitope antisera of the IgG1 subclass, while two also had IgG 2b antibodies and one had IgG 2a antibodies.
