| name: |
Cellular and molecular characterization of a major soybean allergen.
|
| description: |
Data originally imported from the Database of Functional Molecular Immunology, FIMM (http://sdmc.lit.org.sg:8080/fimm/) and recurated. The following refers to the epitope id as found in the original FIMM database: P001845
The peptide was one of five immunodominant epitopes recognized by serum IgE from 4 patients allergic to soybean protein. In an analysis of overlapping peptides spanning the sequence of Gly m I, pooled patient sera reacted with peptide residues 223-237 (YRAKEGRCKANKIQD). The minimal epitope was determined by a study of overlapping 10mer peptides covering the positive regions.
