description:	The peptide was recognized by serum IgE from 2 of 4 patients allergic to soybean protein. In an analysis of overlapping peptides spanning the sequence of Gly m I, pooled patient sera reacted with peptide residues 61-75 (EAKRLEIFKNNSNYI). The minimal epitope was determined by a study of overlapping 10mer peptides covering the positive regions.
