description:	The epitope is a mimotope of Avibacterium paragallinarum strain 0083 serovar A. Chickens were challenged with 10^8 cells of A. paragallinarum strain 0083 by intra-nasal inoculation 10 weeks after the last dose. Animals were examined for the typical clinical signs of infectious coryza (nasal discharge, swollen sinus) at day 3 after challenged. Four of eight animals remained symptoms free, while all controls developed symptoms.
