Analogs of native conserved high affinity binding peptides (HABP) derived from the P.falciparum TRAP protein were tested for recognition using sera from epitope-immunized Aotus monkeys. Three of six responded by the second boost. This peptide induced antibodies reactive with the sporozoite perinuclear or apical structures.
