description:	The critical residue was identified by binding to various strains of virus and recombinant virus with site mutations in ELISA and IFA. The mAb bound IBDV Belgium isolate and strain E/Del, but not strains GLS nor D78. Both Ser and Thr at position 222 are critical for binding, residue Ala at position 321 was required but less restricted.
