description:	The anti-RSV mAb identified the epitope from a solid phase combinatorial peptide library as a mimotope of RSV F protein. The mAb bound resin bound and nitrocellulose bound epitope, but did not bind free epitope. The epitope did not inhibit binding of the mAb to a MAP construct of the epitope. The equilibrium constant for binding of the mAb was determined to a MAP construct consisting of 4 copies of the epitope.
