description:	To determine B cell antigenic sites, IgG4 reactivity was tested against 10 truncated Ov33 polypeptides from the 33kDa protein of O. volvulus. While reactivity with Ov33 aa1-175 was negative, reactivity to the longer fragment, aa1-187 was strongly positive. This pattern of reactivity indicates the presence of a B cell reactive domain between aa 175-and 187. Reactivity was also shown in the N-terminal region of the Ov33 protein, aa1-82.
