description:	The epitope is a construct of VP1 residues 200-213 and 141-158. The epitope sequence is from the reference cited: Kurz et al. (1981) Nucleic Acids Res. 9: 1919-1931 [PMID: 6264400]. Anti-CC200-213-PPS-141-158PCG sera showed broad cross-neutralization activity against FMDV serotype O (strains O₁Kaufbeuren, O₁BFS, O Austria 1/81, O Hong Kong 21/70, and O₆ V1) . The antisera neutralized O Thailand 1/80 clone10 significantly less effectively.
