Sera from rN protein-primed H-2d mice were restimulated with 86 overlapping 10-mer peptides spanning the whole PUUV N protein. The highest reactivity was seen against residues within the first 120 amino acids, showing that the major antigenic region of the protein is located within the N-terminus. Reactivity was similar in CBA and C57BL/6 mice.
