This peptide mimics an antibody epitope in the iron-regulated outer membrane protein (IROMP-99) of Pasteurella multocida strain C51-12.
Serum against the iron-regulated outer membrane protein (IROMP-99) of Pateurella multocida strain C51-12 selected the epitope from a phage display library. In a subsequent experiment, the epitope inhibited the binding of the serum to IROMP-99 by ELISA.
