name:
Humanized monoclonal antibodies derived from chimpanzee Fabs protect against Japanese encephalitis virus in vitro and in vivo.
description:
The humanized mAbs A3 and E3 bound recombinant JEV E protein under reducing and non-reducing conditions, whereas mAb B2 bound the recombinant antigen only under non-reducing conditions. In a separate assay, mutant E proteins (single substitutions at positions 126, 179 and 302) were used to identify critical binding residues.
