name:
Antibody recognition of a flexible epitope at the DNA binding site of the human papillomavirus transcriptional regulator E2.
description:
These residues are located on the DNA binding helix of the C terminal region of the protein.
This epitope-specific mAb affinity to the E2C domain was measured. The effect of ionic strength and pH on the kinetic constants was studied by SPR and calorimetry measurements. The interaction was determined to be highly influenced by changes in ionic strength and to be entropically driven.
