Peptide mimics of the group B meningococcal capsule induce bactericidal and protective antibodies after immunization.
|
| description: |
There was no detectable bactericidal acitivity in the sera of mice immunized with the two plasmids containing a secretory signal peptide before epitope with or without a Th epitope. Mice immunized with plasmids expressing the epitope or the epitope preceded by a Th epitope had moderate serum bactericidal acitvity; Adding a plasmid containing IFN-g gene increased the number of responding animals.
