SV40 large tumor antigen associated synthetic peptides define native antigenic determinants and induce protective tumor immunity in mice.
|
| description: |
The CG added at the N-terminus for coupling. The penultimate Gln residue was replaced by Asn.
Mice were challenged with an i.p.inoculation of 5 LD50 (equal to 2.5 x 10^5 SV40-transformed cells) of a BALB/c SV40-transformed kidney fibroblast cell line (mKSA) 14 days after a final booster injection. BALB/c mice immunized with epitope-KLH conjugate did not survive a tumor challenge past 30 days (survival time = 7-22 days).
