The latex allergen hev B 5 is an antigen with repetitive murine B-cell epitopes.
|
| description: |
The epitope-specific mAbs bound to natural latex protein. MAbs 6A10 and 3G3 were IgG1, and 6F6 was IgG2b. Mutant Hev b 5 with the Glu substituted with a Met led to significantly less binding with the mAb, and competitive ELISA were similarly less effective. Other epitopes that the mAbs recognized were APETEK and PAEEEK (the dominant epitope), also in Hev b 5.
