name:
Mapping and structural analysis of B-cell epitopes on the morbillivirus nucleoprotein amino terminus.
description:
The mAb was shown to recognize the parent virus RPV (RBOK) by IFA. The residues required for binding were then identified by sequence analysis of the binding patterns of other RPV strains. Reactive amino acids that were shared between all viruses were not considered as effective when the mAb had a differential reactivity. The remaining residues were then compared to define the minimum amino acid sequence involved in the difference in reactivity among strains.
