The animals were injected with 250-300ug peptide-carrier conjugate (bovine serum albumin (BSA) and to thyroglobulin) and 50ug free peptide. Free peptide were emulsified in 100 ul of RAS adjuvants (PAN Systems, Aidenbach, Germany). The epitope was synthesized with a C-terminal cysteine.
