name:
Serological responses of patients with ectopic pregnancy to epitopes of the Chlamydia trachomatis 60 kDa heat shock protein.
description:
Reactivity against the epitope was more prevalent among patients who had experienced ectopic pregnancy when compared to sera from women with uncomplicated in utero pregnancies. The difference was statistically significant. Further comparative studies were also undertaken to show a link between epitope reactivity and clinical and histopathological conditions.
