name:
Mapping of the IgE and IgG4 sequential epitopes of milk allergens with a peptide microarray-based immunoassay.
description:
Reactivity is expressed as the IgE/IgG4 ratio. Absolute and relative frequencies of patients' antibodies recognizing each epitope were determined. Peptides that were bound by antibodies from greater than 75% of patients with milk allergy were considered epitopes. For the reactive and tolerant groups, 12/16 patients and 2/15 patients responded positively to the assay, respectively. This difference in reactivity is significant.
