description:	This peptide was used as it is located in region 398&ndash 409 in the middle part of pedestal domain P1 of the hexon protein, which was predicted to be a potential epitope site by studying the beta-turn regions and hydrophilicity profile of the protein. It is shared with HAdV types 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 16, 40 and 41, and it has one substitution in HAdV types 8, 12 and 48 and two substitutions in in BAdV-3, MAdV-1, FAdV-1 and in FAdV-10 types.
