name:
Mapping of an epitope recognized by a neutralizing monoclonal antibody specific to toxin Cn2 from the scorpion Centruroides noxius, using discontinuous synthetic peptides.
description:
Mice were challenged 9 days after the fourth immunization by intraperitoneal injection of one LD50 of Cn2. Survival rate was recorded 24 h after challenge. Non-immunized controls had a 50% survival rate, making this result negative.
