description:	The epitope sequence is from the reference cited: Sikkema and Murphy (1992) Infect. Immun. 60: 5204-5211 [PMID: 1280627]. Epitope-specific mAbs bound to P2 protein in an immunoblot assay of bacterial whole cell lystaes and recognized purified P2 by ELISA. The mAbs were strain-specific. MAbs 6G3, 1B5, 6D2, 6C5, 6F2,and 6A11 are isotype IgG2a and mAb 3C10 is IgG2b.
