description:	The epitope sequence is from the reference cited: Sikkema and Murphy (1992) Infect. Immun. 60: 5204-5211 [PMID: 1280627]. Epitope-specific mAbs bound to influenzae 1479 whole organisms by immunoelectron microscopy and immunofluorescence, indicating the epitope is exposed on the surface of intact bacterial cells. MAbs 6G3, 1B5, 6D2, 6C5, 6F2,and 6A11 are isotype IgG2a and mAb 3C10 is IgG2b.
