description:	Peptides containing QTG/TL/D motifs are studied as mimotopes of GXM. The peptide was eluted from a random phage library by panning with the GXM-specific mAb. The peptide-displaying phage inhibited the binding of the mAb to GXM. The binding was specific as the peptide-phage did not bind two additional human IgM rheumatoid factor MAbs.
