The epitope specific mAb TAXY-6 inhibited the binding of monoclonal antibody TAX-7 and Lt4 to the antigen. The epitoie-specific mAb TAXY-8 inhibited the binding of monoclonal antibody TAXY-1 and Lt4 to the antigen, measured bu ELISA. All antibodies were raised against the HTLV-1 tax-1 gene.
