| name: |
Germline V-genes sculpt the binding site of a family of antibodies neutralizing human cytomegalovirus.
|
| description: |
The epitope-specific, hypermutated mAb affinity for the fragment 64-78 gB was analyzed by SPR. The Fab displayed both fast on and off rates of binding. The off rate was highly dependent on the temperature. Binding was also detected in direct ELISA, and the binding rate was higher at lower tempratures, in accordance with this enhanced disocciation at higher temperature.
