The epitope sequence is found in Morgan et al (2000) [PMID: 11140686].
Immunization with the epitope showed a non significant increase in CSF A beta 1–40 and decrease in A beta 1–42 in the brain that was not statistically significant. Immunohistochemistry in brains from immunized aged dogs showed little differences in the extent of diffuse plaque accumulation.
