Depressed primary in vitro antibody response in rheumatoid arthritis.
description:
PBL cells from rheumatoid arthritis patients, stimulated in vitro with TNP-polyacylamide beads, were less reactive to TNP-sheep red blood cells than cells from normal controls or cells from other patients without RA. The response was highest at day 7. No antibody was seen in cultures of cells that had not been simulated in vitro.
