The epitope-specific mAb(s) recognized porcine kidney cells infected with PCV-2. Recognition of PCV-2 was observed in ELISA and IFA. Monoclonal antibodies 3C11 and 4A10 were of IgG2a isotype, while mAb 8F6 was of IgG2b. The epitope was deduced by deletion analysis.
