| name: |
Immune response to Abeta-peptides in peripheral blood from patients with Alzheimer's disease and control subjects.
|
| description: |
Serum samples from 8 of 36 Alzheimer's disease patients had a higher amount of antibody to the epitope compared to serum from 34 normal controls, but the median IgG concentration in both groups was not statistically significant. In a subset of patients tested, the antibody response to the epitope was found to be mainly IgG1.
