Significant reduction in median binding of the patient sera to GAD in the presence of the epitope-specific Ab was seen. In addition, longitutinal samples obtained from LADA patients were analyzed for epitope specificity and no epitope maturation was observed (within months of -50 to 50 of diagnosis).
