name:
Characterisation of an epitope specific to the neuron-specific isoform of human enolase recognised by a monoclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of beta/A4-protein.
description:
The epitope-specific antisera labelled extracellular neurofibrillary tangles in the hippocampal formation and showed some intracellular staining of pyramidal cells. At no stage during the immunization schedule did the antisera label senile plaques.
