Positive immunostaining was observed in brains of patients with Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Parkinsonism-dementia complex of Guam (PDC), as well as some normal aged controls. The reactivity was mainly towards intracellular neurofibrillary tangles (iNFT), tangle associated amyloid deposits (TAADs) and diffuse and compact amyloid plaques in patients and controls.
